Eddie and John Vogt, a father and son team, founded Hometown Roofing & Restoration in 2021. With ancestral roots that pre-date the establishment of their hometown, Boerne,Texas, they are proud 8th generation Texans with big hearts and a passion to help property owners get their storm damaged property repaired properly and quickly. John grew up in the construction business and established himself as a General Contractor in 2017 after Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coastline. While helping the residents and the towns recover from Harvey, John worked closely with contractors, homeowners, insurance carriers and public adjusters, which made him very well versed in the intricacies of those industries. These experiences along with 15 years experience as a catastrophe insurance adjuster led John to his storm restoration journey. Due to the surprise Texas hail storm of May 2021, Hometown Roofing & Restoration now specializes in hail damage repair as well. It is incredibly difficult to see hail damage from the ground, and it takes a well trained eye to know it’s even there. John Vogt,
Owner
John was born and raised in Boerne, Texas. His family has been in Boerne for generations, even before Boerne was established! John grew up in the construction business and started framing houses early in his career. Later, John studied Marine Science and Business Management at Texas State Technical College and St. Phillip's College. He then went on to become a catastrophe insurance adjuster, serving 15 years in that role. He is a licensed realtor and insurance adjuster and has extensive knowledge on storm damage restoration. With many years of experience, John is dedicated to helping every customer achieve satisfaction in the restoration of their property.
Eddie Vogt,
Owner
Eddie is an experienced entrepreneur with five startups across a variety of market segments including construction and roofing. Additionally, he has worked for a Fortune 500 company, and successfully ran for political office, serving as a judge. He is a licensed Texas Realtor and manages commercial and residential properties. Throughout his career, he has handled operations including legal, HR, tactical and strategic planning, purchasing, and finance.
David Wickizer,
Production Manager
David was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Boerne in early 2020. David is Hometown Roofing & Restoration's General Manager. He has climbed the ranks from Sales and Production and he specializes in residential and commercial asphalt shingle and metal roof systems.
In 2017, David returned to the construction field to continue doing what he loves by making people happy through professional and quality work.

Office Manager
Marley is our outgoing, energetic, and oh so friendly office manager. She is very supervisory, and any time anyone is working on something new or different at the office, she is right in the middle of the action.
